SECCCO was established in 2008 with the mission of bringing clean, low-cost and sustainable renewable energy solutions to Somalia. In the 16 years of operation, our work has created tangible social and economic impact and improved the lives of thousands of Somalia people.
SECCCO’s expertise has guided the design and implementation of many renewable energy projects, both small and big, across Somalia. Our company’s professional approach to renewable energy has made us a leader in the energy field.
Due to demands of the industry and our communities SECCCO opened and operates a training center where we get fresh graduates and students from TVETs to get hands on training from our engineers. These trainees get out to the job market either as self-employment or get absorbed by companies working within the sector.
At SECCCO we recognize the role women play in the sector and leadership positions. We take women views and engage women as part of product development and management of SECCCO. Part of our management and department head is led by women moreover
